Luca (born in 1998) has always felt that becoming a professional musician was his calling. ''As a child, I played music for every occasion. I played any chance I got. Be it playing guitar, bass or singing, I would perform at family gatherings, at school, or in hobby youth projects during my free time. At some point it became obvious to me that I wanted to do this for the rest of my life.''
He attended the Humboldt-Gymnasium in Cologne, DE, where he grew up. His high school facilitated a focus on music through separate music classes which Luca attended. After receiving his high school diploma in 2017, he knew that he wanted to continue with music.
In 2018, he started his bachelor's degree in Jazz & Pop at the ArtEZ conservatory in Arnhem, NL. His main instrument is the Bassguitar, but he has broughtened his regimen and skillset to double bass, fretless bass and the Bass-Synth. During his studies he has encountered numerous inspiring artists and played on the Dutch national radio (Radio NPO2, Radio Veronica, 3FM, QMusic) as well as Dutch national TV (SBS6, NPO2). Luca graduated from the ArtEZ Conservatory with a Bachelor of Arts (Music) in 2022.
What awaits him in the future? ''After my studies in The Netherlands I moved back to Cologne and settled down there. I will never forget my time in The Netherlands, though. Luckily, it's just 1 to 2h driving to The Netherlands.'' Luca will still take on projects in The Netherlands but is based mainly in Germany to work, play, and teach.
